Beard comb had a smell when i got. I thought it was bad but decided not to return after reading other reviews. It was a little hard to open in the first two weeks, after which it became loose. Build quality is good and have no complaints about it as of now.

Even if you loosen the screw, ots impossible to open one handed. Also, the black stain has worn off 50% just from being in my pocket. Laaaame

This is a one durable beard comb. Doesn’t snag or tug into your hairs. I recommend this product especially for the quality.

This is a very nice comb, with no sharp or splintery edges. The painting is gorgeous and the finish seems like it will last with normal use. However, the hinge feels a little loose and it dosen't just *stay open* when using it, you have to hold it at the hinge area. If that's a feature not a flaw, it would be nice to have a finger rest for control like there is on straight razors.
