I was looking for a derma roller and all the results were in the $7-$10 range. Saw this set for $20 so I figured with all the extras it would be worth a try. The oil is an unscented blend of jojoba and argan oil, nothing special. Same with the beard balm, an unscented blend of beeswax, shea butter and some essential oils. Pretty standard but you don’t have to worry about gambling on a potentially overwhelming or nauseating scent that most mens products have. Spritz a tiny amount of your favorite cologne into your hand and mix with the balm if you feel the need to. The comb is slotted with smooth rounded guides and is pretty nice compared to cheap wood cutout ones I’ve received in the past. On to the derma roller…which is why I bought it and seems to be the lowest quality item in the set. The micro needles look like they weren’t installed correctly. They aren’t centered in each slot so on one side it will be sticking out too far, and on the other it’s deep inside the slot so it’s not making contact at all. Very uneven when you try to use it.

I bought this beard growth kit to try and fill in some patchiness in my beard. With the derma roller and oil application for about a month, I started to notice the patchiness start to fade. I keep my beard relatively short, so the beard balm in the kit isn’t really useful to me, but it does soften my beard very well. All in all, this is an awesome product and is very beneficial that it doesn’t have any harmful artificial fragrance in it either! I will definitely buy again when I run out.

Hello I recently bought this growth kit and I was skeptical because I’ve tried so many other kits. This one I saw immediately results! It’s more than a kit it’s also a manicure and relaxation kit. First time trying a beard kit, I have a bunch of patches and spots with no growth, so I figured I'd give it a try. I have used this beard growth kit for about a month and a half and have had positive results. One of the main things I struggled with while growing a beard was connecting the mustache to the rest of the beard and overall patchiness. I use the roller and growth oil about 1-2 times a week which takes about 5-10 minutes each session depending on how diligent you are. The growth is not instant, but with patience, over time I have been filling out a lot more in my beard and it is all starting to connect together which is great!
