The hold and the texture it provides for my beard is amazing. The one thing I cannot get past is the smell. It's not a bad smell but it is a very powerful waxy smell. It almost takes my breath away. Because of this I cannot use this product by itself and always have to use it with something else in order to dampen the smell. It's a very strong beeswax smell. Works exactly the way I would like. If the smell was improved in some way I would be a forever fan. However, due to the smell, once I am done using this I will never get it again.

I’ve been using this product over the past year after growing my beard fully. The first can I bought had s smooth consistency and a pleasant smell. I liked how it blended into my beard, gave it a nice sheen, scent and control. I just used the last of my first can today and opened the can I ordered on Feb 22nd. It is nothing like the first can! This can has a much stronger smell and watery texture, with a grainy feel. As if it got overheated or, frozen at some point. I equate it to how ice cream that has thawed, and refrozen at some point feels. Gross! The BS part of this is, the return window closed on March 24th. I just had not opened it yet! This is total BS. At this point Beard Guyz has successfully lost a client and what would have been a glowing endorsement. I am going to contact them directly at the 800 number provided on the can. An update will follow.

The second tin I got smells AWFUL and is very stiff. It's also a different color. If they changed the formula, they need to put it back. I liked the smell on the first one but the second one is going in the garbadge.

I've tried several brands of beard balm and this one has a good combination of features that work well for me. I particularly like the scent, which is masculine and not too strong, and the texture/consistency of the balm itself seem just right to me. This will be my go-to beard balm.

This is not the same as No. 25. Totally different scent. More of a perfume scent. Same consistency just different.

1-this stuff is like using glue. It does not soften for even application. 2-it smells like cardboard that got soaking wet then dried out. It was so bad i had to wash it out, which was not easy because it is like glue. 3-it made my beard feel dry & brittle. I would return this product for a refund but "very dissatisfied with item" is not an option. I tried this because the "beard guyz beard butter" is awesome but it was a waste of $12.
