I was forced to get something new when I wasn't able to find the previous beard wash I've been using for a year. This one has a nice menthol feeling when you put it on but after a month of daily use it's not really darkening the grey in my bear it's giving a more salt than pepper vibe. The old product I used darkened my full beard to the point I didn't have to use it daily maybe just a few days a week. This one looks like black ink on your hands but thankfully doesn't stain. I will continue to use it if I am still unable to find the Just For Men I used to use.

This stuff works. It’s not a dye like hair dye, so it isn’t going to change in one application. But if you do it regularly, it will. I jump in shower and wet beard, then get out and stand in front of mirror and put quite a bit in my beard, making sure so cover any grey or white areas and working it into a lather. I pull apart beard to reveal hidden white, too. Then get back in shower and wait 5 minutes. I think the first two times I tried it the results weren’t happening because I was not actually covering all areas of the grey beard. That’s where getting out and looking in the mirror came to play. I really like how it isn’t a solid black coating but just darkens things overall, some red and black and brown in my beard still show, also a bit of grey. For sure made me look 5-7 years younger, and that makes me happy It smells good too. I am not sure how long the color will stay in, so far it’s not coming out though after a week or so… I think also different peoples beards are different, some are more porous, thicker, skinnier, different colors, different ethnic types of hair… I imagine this make a difference in how well it gets absorbed. I’m Caucasian and German, Irish and Welsh, if that means anything. Dark brown/ black hair and thick beard. Give the stuff a try, but do stick with it for 2 weeks and use a mirror when applying

I'm going thru my second tube of this, been using about eight weeks. It took about 3 weeks of daily use to realize I'd gotten the most color change I was going to get. Overall I'd say it works on white and the lightest grey hairs, darkening them enough to notice a difference. I clip my short beard every 3-4 days so I use it following a clip and that seems to keep the color fairly consistent. Not sure how long the color would last if I didn't clip. It also works well as a beard wash, beard is clean, soft and feels conditioned. But as others have noted the scent is strong, wish it was more natural smelling, or unscented, but I've gotten used to it.

I used this product for about 6 weeks every other day and did not color any hair at all not even a little bit. It didn't matter how long I left it on either. It does have a decent smell and left my beard feeling clean though.

my beard is slowly turning white. not grey but white. After using this several times, I did notice a difference. It's messy in the shower but surprisingly, not staining to anything. The problem is...it turned my white hair grey. the difference was a wee too subtle. I used it every day for 3 weeks and the light grey stayed light grey. Was hoping for darker but I know everyone's hair is different. I'd recommend this if you are seeking a minor change.

You have to use it nearly every day to keep facial hair colored. I recommend going with a lighter color so it doesn’t look odd.

I used this product twice a day for a week. I never saw any tinting or blending occur. Beard is still white in areas. Wish it would have worked.
