This is a better than beginner kit for everyone. Easy to use for grooming through out the day. Strongly recommend for individuals that like to grow facial hair.

This was a very pricey beard trimmer but it did come with several nice beard care products and also a straight razor. It cuts very precisely and I bought it to keep my goatee trimmed fairly short...I would imagine if you had a thick full beard that this trimmer eould be just the ticket. I have only had it for a week so time will tell as to how the blades hold up and maintain their edge.

The trimmer does a great job trimming the beard itself but it doesn’t trim close enough to the skin around the beard and neck.

I've used this a few times. It really is a great beard trimmer. I didn't think it was going to be that great or just as good as some of the norelcos I've had but this one is nicer, heavier, and trims my beard evenly.

I bought this trimmer as an alternative to bi-weekly barber trips. The large amount of trim guards makes it way easier to keep my beard looking like it’s being professionally maintained. Also the gift pack I bought comes with some great additions, including the safety straight razor which provides an incredibly smooth and close shave (so long as you know what you’re doing with it). The only downside to the PT45 is that it isn’t made to cut the hair on my head as close as I want it to, but it does bring it down close enough to shave easily afterwards. But I didn’t buy head clippers, I bought a beard trimmer! Overall I’m extremely happy I bought this. I will be able to save a ton of money by staying out of the barber chair (sorry barbers) and the bonus gifts that were included are an excellent touch.

Like quite a few reviews I saw, the shampoo came opened. Luckily it wasn't the mess some of the others were but it had leaked. Surprisingly happy with the baum. I typically don't like sandlewood but I do like this one. Only just got the product and so far I'm very happy with it the little I used it.
