I had a small trimmer kit that I'd used for years. I've had a goatee variation for years as well. Finally decided to go the full beard route. And with my old trimmer slowly dying, it was time for an upgrade. This kit comes with several comb attachments for different beard (or hair) lengths. I'm keeping mine short, so these combs will likely not get used. But the trimmer unit itself is nice. Comfortable grip. Includes ear/nose hair trimmer attachment. Attachments clip on/off of the trimmer. Feels solid and not cheap. 2 speeds. Runs relatively quiet. Gives a countdown until it needs to be charged. Can be charged via USB, so it's good for traveling (less power supplies to bring). Full grooming kit. Good value.

It my older years I have now been sporting facial hair for the first time. I looked at many options for a trimmer and settled on this item. It has enabled me to easily keep my Santa Beard (as the kids tease me) looking well-groomed and properly trimmed. A pleasant surprise were how well the attachments performed for trimming up the nose and ear canal areas. I'm probably not alone with all the new hair that grows in new places as hair disappears from your hairline or worst yet the top of your head.

I wasn’t expecting all the different shaving and trimming heads for this unit. Easy to take off and replace with a different one so far one of the better units I’ve had. since I trim my beard and need once a week I’ve gone through quite a few of trimmers so far this one surpasses all the other

Conclusion: TLDR: I Personally disliked it. It is functional, and the battery does last for quite some time, but I do not consider it to be time efficient enough. The blade feels pretty in all attachements that it came with. The only potential exception you might notice where it may seem to behave normally is the tip that's used for fine-trimming. That's because you don't actually place nearly as much hair volume into it at any given time. The rest of this post is me describing my next course of action moving forward since this razor was a flop. The problem lies in the fact that either it's so safe that it's hard for you to cut everything efficiently and quickly, or it's just plain weak. It sounds like there's a lot of movement inside of the device when you turn it on, but unless the blades of the nose trimmer is just really up in this device, then it's really hard for me to understand why it's not cutting anything closer to the skin of the inside of my nose. I tried to see it with my eyes without disassembling the product. I cant actually see a blade inside the guard. The beard trimming is no better. It takes forever to trim my beard. I think I will go back to the Philips Norelco. The multigroom one that I bought at Target a decade ago is starting to get worn out. The sad thing is, it was $11.99 for 5pc + nose trimmer. And all of the internal workings were made ONLY of plastic. the tips of the beard trimmers were metal. You could cut yourself with this device if you weren't using a guard. I'm now going through with an order for the "Philips Norelco Series 3000" 13 piece set. This is more than my old set came with but back then it wasn't called "Series". Just a single trimmer with some attachments. From the 1-star reviews over there, I can see that there's tons of people whinning about the "cuts" they're getting while "manscaping in the tub". I'd rather get a cut once in a while than waste 40 to 50 minutes a day fighting a safetyproofed electric razor that, when it does actually manage to cut hair, also manages to very slopily fling it across the room instead of down into the sink, wasting my time once more with another task to complete. No thanks; Yes, it IS safe. Yes you WON'T get cut, but it takes ages and ages to get the job done. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

The old adage ’you get what you pay for’ comes to mind with this as it’s at the lower price end on these products. The build quality doesn’t seem great, it creeks in your hand as you move it around, and it generally seems a little flimsy. As for the power on and two speed feature, while helpful, it’s annoying that you have to cycle through both settings every time you power the unit on. I’m not sure that the battery would last long enough to trim and shape my beard as well as cut my hair. But having said that it works great! I bought it to trim my beard primarily and with all the tools it has it does a fine job of it. At the price it’s at right now I would recommend it, not so sure at full price as I don’t think it’s a $44 dollar tool.

My husband uses this product weekly. It comes with a vary of sizes and holds charge for a long time. He has charged it once since purchasing (over weeks of use) and is in a storage box that fits perfectly in the cabinet and keeps everything organized until next use.
