I like it, the price is average, definitely better than some competitors that justifies insane prices for what this is. Scent is mild, I barely notices and like most people with beard and mustaches, you wear this just under your nose and I still I can barely notice the scent. Not a critique, I don't need it to smell, i Need it to moisturize and shape the beard. It does both, it moisturizing the beard and skin better than it actually holds the shape, some people say it is a bit greasy, too a point I can agree, but it is only on the skin if not properly rubbed in you might find it to still be a bit oily. I have some wild hairs growing haywire from time to time until I trimmed it a bit, and I find that this is not really holding the shape that well, it does make the beard softer and not as "crispy" or "stiff", but I still get those out-sticking straws here and there no matter how much balm I use combined with a good brushing. At the same time, I have not found a single other product that pulls that off entirely, so I might as well stick with these products because I simply put like the prices this company offers. I have their balm, oils, beard comb, beard scissors, and DE razor (not included in this kit) for my head shaves. And being a Scandinavian with a Viking heritage, how can I not like their name :) This is not better than other products I have used and certainly not worse, when it comes down to it, a lot of them are pretty much made from the same stuff with slightly different recipe, that's all, so just give this a go.

I dont know what the some of the other reviewers are complaining about, but this stuff definetly smells good. Just just came in today and I tried both the balm aswell as the oil and both smell just fine to me. Very good chance I will pick up the same scent once my current balm and/or oil run out. I'm convinced that the reviews trashing the smell are just troll reviews. Brush seems good quality and bristles are very firm. Comb would probably work better for fuller/long beard.

Viking revolution is a wonderful company with top notch products with a wonderful scent, and leaves my beard feelingsoft and touchable. I would and have recommended them to friends and family, there customer service is also top notch. The product I received said it came with a free e-book on beard care and grooming, how ever when I received the product the info to get the book was absent, one email and less then 24 hours later I had the pdf. I would and will be getting more product from Viking revolution in the future not only for my self but as gifts as well.
